They are announcing winning prizes and demanding Insurance & courier charges for shipment. Why shipment when Air courier is available? Why pre-payment ? Organisations sponsoring crores of Rupees to the winner is unable to pay Insurance & Courier charges? Is it fleecing, cheating and fraud?
Has anyone else had bad experiences with DHL or City-link delivery services?
I recently won something on Ebay at a very good price.
The P&P charges were included…
I waited for ages and city link were the carriers..
Finally, Monday the 28th and I was home for half the day and I never heard the doorbell or a knock at the door and apparently the City-Link guy attempted delivery.. Quite annoyed at myslfr for not hearing it.
So I immedietly called up city-link and arranged for an delivery the next day and had my son stay at my home for me as I has to visit Age Concern and hos hearing is much better than mine.
He Sat in the computer room most of the day which is next to our front door and we had the usual people putting promo flyers through our door(new pizza service etc) and he even ran to the door answered is to one of them…
When the City-Link courier came by he never rang the bell or even knocked! He just put a card through the porch letter box!!
I spoke to city-link today, and they said to me that delivery the 2nd time failed because my son(29) shouted
racial abuse at the courier!
I laughed down the phone and said that he is talking rubbish!
I told my son about this and he just laughed as much as I did!
Also, apparently the driver won’t stand around in Eltham in case he is attacked because he is black! If that is the case, then the driver should not be delivering to Eltham as he cannot carry out his job properly!
After arguing with city-link, I earlier sent my nephew(mixed-race) down there and and he went with the consignment number and said he said "I have come to collect my Racist uncles package" and he spoke to someone and because it was not me who went to collect-they would not release the package!
However, I made a good point out of this by sending my nephew and he said the delivery driver was not there to confront!
The driver was obviously bone idol and wanted an excuse to not deliver and just tp drive around and be lazy!!
However-this is a great example of how much of a liar black people are and how they like to use colour!
Also for City-Link, the way they spoke to me and tried to make me sound like a liar and a n idiot is disgusting!
I have also had a bad experience with DHL, from when I ordered a brand new contract from the online store-my phone never got to me and I had to wait 14 days and I was billed £219.78p for a phone contract I had not yet recieved!
The problem with courier services like this is that they emply anyone and perform no background checks and so bent people steal packages and the other half are too lazy to carry out the work!
It’s disgusting, if back when I was a kid a telegram had to be sent-it ALWAYS reached the other person and was a strong service for a very long time!
No untrustworthy foreighners were employed and no riff raff nationalists would of had the chance to even do that job!
Now you have no service and its a "ere, sign ere and ere".
The reason why colour of the driver has something to do with it is because he accused my son of being racist!
My son is not racist and neither am I and I am the only one as well as my son to accept my nephew into my family even thiusg he is mixed race!
A black person delivering to Eltham is disgraceful if he cannot be bothered to attempt an honest delivery because he thinks hat every house in Eltham is racist!
If he cannot carry out deliveries to Eltham, then he should only deliver in an area which he is happy to work in-instead of telling lies and being a black twat!
I will use the term black twat, as for his ignorance to lie like that and pul the race card out!
How pathetic!!
I dont care what colour they are, colour does not bother me!
I dont care if my package is delivered by marshons!
But if it does not get to meand someone tells lies about me or someone else I hate it!!
In fact I have no compassion towards such people and it spoils it for the good ones from that ethnic community!
Sorry to say, this world is full off more negatives than ever!

Murders have always gone on, other old people will tell you it never did in their day-but it did!
I remember on one occasion when I was at school and a kid pulled a pen kife in the woods(on someone else).
But I could count when the things happen!
Now, its almost all the time and is hardly shocking due to how much these things happen!

It’s with great annoyance that I am writing to you but in light of what has happened I feel compelled to do so. I am sure that yourselves like any other company aim to please each of your customer’s in every way possible.
I ordered a dress from your website on Sunday 02 November 2008 (ORDER NUMBER ********) as a gift for someone to be given on Fri 7 November, and requested the “next day delivery option” charge, so that the item ordered, would be with me as requested "THE NEXT DAY".
This was perhaps was a bit presumptuous of myself but thought “yes, perhaps its taken that bit longer is it may need to be shipped to Northern Ireland” but even after having read & understood the exceptions for delivery on your website, (Exceptions * For Northern Ireland: please allow up to 2 working days for express deliveries and 4 working days for standard deliveries.), I would have expected my order to have been delivered at the very latest on Wednesday 5th Dec.
So I have now waited all day Thursday and still no parcel has been delivered.
I have tracked the order on the website of the courier company (HDNL) that you use, in a link provided in a previous email from yourselves & its showing as having been "delivered" on 5th Nov, but I can assure you that this is not the case, as someone was in the home all day.
In any case I’m now very annoyed as it’s Thursday 6th of November, the night before the gift was to be given & it still has not been delivered, even more so annoyed as I paid an extra fee to have the item delivered "express", albeit it was only £1.00 extra but its the principle of the matter. When you pay for a service the least you expect is the highest of quality service in return.
On this occasion you have failed to deliver & this would seriously make me reconsider using your service’s again in future.
As you are the company that I have ordered the dress from in the 1st instance I am holding yourselves responsible.
I would like you to explain why you have let me down on this occasion and would expect a full refund of the delivery charge credited back to my card.
