What's the cheapest way to get a letter from Ireland to England in 1 day, pref. before noon or 1pm?

I am from england, so always just use royal mail!
But Ireland HAVE to be different
Have a small letter (<100grams in weight) that’s being sent out tomorrow from Ireland.
I need the form by Tuesday, so am looking for the cheapest courier service, or method via "anpost" that can get this to me by Tuesday, before 1pm
I’d rather not spend over £10/12 euros on the postage charges! Is there any courier, or company that could offer me that quick postage in such short time and for the relatively low price?
All the normal companies (DHL, etc.) seem to price their international express deliveries around heavy, large items! Is there no company that specializes in small letters or something silly like that, that can offer lower prices?
Is there a site that compares all courier prices so i can find the best one?

when putting a claim in from a courier do they take the parcel back?
i booked a courier to pick up a pram for me since i have recieved it there is abit of fault with a wheel and have told the person i brought it off but they said it was not like this when it left them now if i was to put a claim in with the courier service what will they go and do???

Hi, i need sum advice please. I bought some goods from someone online and paid her via paypal on 2nd May, she sent the items to me via selective international 2007 couriers around 2 weeks ago but i have not recieved the parcel. Ive looked up the couriers and they have really bad feedback for thieving peoples goods and not delivery the parcels, we have both tried contacting them but have had no sucess. I asked my seller fo a refund or even a part refund but she refused as she says she cannot afford to do this as she has sent the items. I also cannot afford to just leave this situation unresolved as im only on benefits and dont have money to waste. I have already opened a dispute with paypal and the seller has been communicating with me via paypal, i think she has a good case as she has sent me a copy of the reciept, etc. What do you think my chances are of getting my money back? considering that i have not signed or recieved the items i paid for. Please help, thanks.
The item was sent from and to the UK, not internationally, its just called selective international because they can ship internationally.
The company, selctive2007 sell their courier service on ebay and also have a website but not a good one, there is no proper tracking system and in their ebay shop feedback people have left negative feedback saying that they use false recipets with false tracking numbers on them.
Surely, my seller should be responsible for using such a bad compay anyway.
did anybody lost their baggage on 4th jan 2010 at heathrow??cuz i did!!?
i flew with lufthansa from seoul , transferred in frankfurt and then arrived in heathrow late on 4th jan 2010.
only to find out that my baggage was delayed
i was told that the baggage is still in frankfurt and that it would be here the day after
i filed in the baggage claim form and went home
phoned them the next day to find that it hasnt been found yet and they didnt know where it was

asda direct deliver (DPD)?
OK i ordered a hi-fi from asda direct Tuesday night
i checked my status of the parcel and it was fully dispatched
i tracked my order and i got directed to the dpd delivery courier service which will then obviously be delivering my parcel
it said dpd next day
it then said customer data received and Nottingham obviously its there at the time i checked (31st)
and i had a update last night 21:49 saying its been confirmed and hub 3 (Birmingham)
i have had no other status update saying its on its way or anything only last night saying it was at hub 3
i know it was new year and they were not working yesterday but other days but i was wondering if i would get the parcel today considering it said dpd next day delivery and i ordered it Tuesday
so will i get any other updates saying where its been moved to or i will the van just turn up? and when will the van come im worrying considering it was only 1 hour and 30mins away from me yesterday night at hub 3 and it hasn’t arrived yet and it should if its next day delivery (shouldn’t it?)

I ordered an guitar from an shop, i paid for the guitar and for the delivery cost too.and they used an courier service to deliver this guitar to me.
By a mistake the courier service has delivered it to an wrong address, and the guitar shop has contacted the courier service to chases it, now i have being waiting for 4 days and i haven’t got the guitar. The courier service in their website says they offer compensation to the customers.

did anybody travel from frankfurt to london heathrow on 4th Jan with LUFTHANSA, or sometime before or after?
i understand there was heavy snowfall which led to confusion of baggages been taken into wrong planes and stuff
and unluckily mine was one of them however it was traced the next day and the courier service
RICO LOGISTICS had it on the 6th jan.. now its 8th jan and there is still no sign of them
i rang them multiple of times to check the progress but everytime they say that itll b delievered on that day
its been 3 days since they said that…..
