I’ve applied for a Tier 4 general student on the 7th of June from VFS Bangalore. The status of the Visa application has changed from "forwarded to the BRITISH High Commission" to " Under process" on 12th. I wanted to know if the application status, the one which we check on the VFS website will indicate what the decision is, as soon as the decision is made or Do i directly get the passport through courier?…… I just wanted to know what will the application status change from "under process" ??? How many days does it usually take ???

They are announcing winning prizes and demanding Insurance & courier charges for shipment. Why shipment when Air courier is available? Why pre-payment ? Organisations sponsoring crores of Rupees to the winner is unable to pay Insurance & Courier charges? Is it fleecing, cheating and fraud?

I have order a fixed blade knife (blade length is 4 1/2" and overall length is 9") from US via USPS First Class International on 21st of May. The package is not delivered yet. I was wondering how much it would take for this item to be delivered and who is going to be delivering this item to me, is it going to be Royal Mail or other courier? And also I wanted to know if it is possible to check with Customs of UK about status of this package, whether they have banned it or not?

There is no tracking awailable for that type of delivery.
How should I know that it is in customs? and how and where I should contact them to pay this VAT?
