What's the cheapest way to get a letter from Ireland to England in 1 day, pref. before noon or 1pm?

Hi,

I am from england, so always just use royal mail!

But Ireland HAVE to be different :(

Have a small letter (<100grams in weight) that’s being sent out tomorrow from Ireland.

I need the form by Tuesday, so am looking for the cheapest courier service, or method via "anpost" that can get this to me by Tuesday, before 1pm

I’d rather not spend over £10/12 euros on the postage charges! Is there any courier, or company that could offer me that quick postage in such short time and for the relatively low price?

All the normal companies (DHL, etc.) seem to price their international express deliveries around heavy, large items! Is there no company that specializes in small letters or something silly like that, that can offer lower prices?

Is there a site that compares all courier prices so i can find the best one?

need feedback on this company please?

I want to send a parcel from London to France, at the standard rate (a signed delivery would be considered for a fair price).

DHL or UPS are too expensive for me. Parcel Force (=Royal Mail) can do it for £38 but I saw that a courier named Interparcel (http://www.interparcel.com) can send it for only £20.

I would like to know if this company, Interparcel, is reliable or not.
Please let me know of other international courier services you would recommend (which is reliable, safe and as cheap as possible)

This parcel contains cds and I would value it to £1200
(4.2kg, 35×14x17cm)

Thank you !

Package from US to UK via USPS First Class International.?

I have order a fixed blade knife (blade length is 4 1/2" and overall length is 9") from US via USPS First Class International on 21st of May. The package is not delivered yet. I was wondering how much it would take for this item to be delivered and who is going to be delivering this item to me, is it going to be Royal Mail or other courier? And also I wanted to know if it is possible to check with Customs of UK about status of this package, whether they have banned it or not?
Thank you.
Sorry for the category, this was the first suggested one.
There is no tracking awailable for that type of delivery.
How should I know that it is in customs? and how and where I should contact them to pay this VAT?
Thanks alot, ToodlePip.
I have read and asked about inport of the knifes and received different answers, now I guess I really need to contact straight with Customs. Thanks alot!
sorry, Import*

Amazon international express delivery, Saturdays?

Does amazon’s international express delivery deliver on Saturdays?
On Thursday I ordered stuff off amazon.de, and chose international express delivery, it said it’ll take 1~2 working days, and the estimated delivery date is today, saturday, the courier is UPS, as of today, 6th September a.m.3:59 the package is at Cologne, Germany.
I live in London.
Question 1, Will I get my stuff today?
Question 2, When I order in the UK, does Royal Mail deliver on Saturdays? Sundays? Bank Holidays?

Does anyone know which is cheaper … Royal Mail Parcels or a Courier?

I send all of my heavy stuff by Royal Mail Standard Parcel post at the moment but I have to take it to the Post Office and there’s usually a couple of big boxes each day. Royal Mail won’t collect parcel post so does anyone know of any courier companies which might work out cheaper?

I’ve know who all the main couriers are but I could do with some advice from someone who actually uses them and might be able to recommend one to try.

Thanks!! :o ))))

Worldwide couriers…?

I need to send a small package (about 200g) to Shanghai from the UK and I need online tracking. Parcel Force and DHL are too expensive to be feasable and the Royal Mail won’t do online tracking for China. Can anybody recommend an alternative international courier that offers small package tracking for a sensible price?

Thankyou
